Dave Portnoy has a new enemy, the Savannah Bananas.

The Barstool Sports founder — who bought back the company from Penn Entertainment for $1 earlier this month — ignited a war with the exhibition baseball team based in Savannah, Ga.

“I’m so f–king sick of the Savanah Bananas,” Portnoy tweeted on Monday.

In a response to someone that wrote, “They might be sick of you too,” the official Savannah Bananas Twitter account threw shade at Portnoy.

“Barstool is in our DMs every day asking to reshape our videos,” they wrote. “We’ll let Dave have his moment.”

The Savannah Bananas are the Harlem Globetrotters of baseball.

The viral sensations incorporate entertainment, such as dancing and singing, into a faster baseball game — “Banana Ball,” which includes wild rules, like no walking and if a fan catches a foul ball it counts as an out.

The team took things a step further when they shared a screen grab of a social media message from Barstool Sports requesting to post one of their videos and tag them.

In a separate reply, someone asked the Savannah Bananas: “Wasn’t @martymush just taking BP with you guys. Lol,” referring to Barstool Podcast host Marty Mush.

“Yes he was,” the team replied. “It’s almost like… everyone at Barstool is a huge fan. Weird.”

That’s when Portnoy wrote: “Somebody tell the @TheSavBananas that I didn’t own Barstool till last week.

“I’m back. Lame s–t is out. Congrats on having low rent talent make lame ass videos. Oh Marty Mush took BP! You’re proving my point.”

In another tweet, Portnoy shared a blog post on the Barstool Sports website titled, “The Savanah Bananas Think They Are Cool Cause Marty Mush Took BP With Them,” ripping the team, who he called his “new enemy.”

Portnoy misspelled Savannah in every insult.

“Now listen I get that the bananas aren’t meant for people over the age of 10,” Portnoy wrote. “It’s a kids show. They play wacky baseball and do wacky things and it works for them.

“They have great attendance and it’s a great place to bring your kids for an afternoon. (Editor’s note – I hate kids). So I get it’s not for me. That’s fine.”

Portnoy went on to explain that he can’t stand seeing the team go viral for their upbeat videos, which often feature the team doing choreographed dances and other trends on TikTok.

“But what is driving me crazy is seeing their clips go viral every 2 seconds,” he continued. “Like after the 9,000th clip of essentially the same exact thing we get the point.

“Oh the center fielder did a flip catching a routing fly ball. Ohh the umpire is dancing. Oh they are dancing their way to the batters box. Oh they are doing the Toosie Slide. Enough already.

“So yesterday after seeing another Savanah Bannanna clip go viral for the billionth time I innocently tweeted out [his message]. Well the Bananas reacted by trying to dunk on me saying that Barstool sucks the Bananas d–k and always asks to repost their content and Marty Mush begged to take BP with them.

“I’m sure all of this is true and it also just confirms exactly what I was saying about the Bananas. It’s lame a– content. I mean no joke I’ve sent no less than 10 texts to our social team (Bald Paul) to stop being lame on our socials since my return.”

Although Portnoy said “you can’t argue their success,” he ripped the team for their content.

“You can’t argue their success and I wouldn’t change a thing if I were them, but it’s for kids 10 and under,” he concluded.

The social media war continued with the Savannah Bananas posted video of Portnoy saying, “Go Bananas.”
